The Embassy of the Republic of Ghana has been closely monitoring the COVID-19 developments in Italy and consistently been engaging with the authorities in Ghana on restoring Consular Services to the public.

In this connection, the Embassy is cognisant of the fact that health considerations should be given the utmost priority in any decision to restore services. The health guidelines being issued by the Italian authorities are under consideration for appropriate measures to be adopted to protect all visitors to the Embassy as well as staff.

In due course, the Mission will communicate in detail, timelines for re-opening to the public and the health measures to be observed by all visitors.

Once again, the Mission wishes to entreat all Ghanaian nationals to continue to strictly observe the health protocols issued by the Italian authorities and remain steadfast in our belief that this stressful period will soon be over.
